Websites
We design and build your site properly, migrate it with zero downtime, and then look after it — hosting, security, backups and ongoing changes under one monthly fee. You own your domain; when you need a change, you ask the person who built it.
Start a conversationWhy this is different
Most websites fail in one of two ways. Either they're locked into a template platform that can't do what the business actually needs, or an agency builds something handsome, invoices, and disappears — leaving nobody to call when the contact form breaks or the certificate lapses.
We do both halves. The build is bespoke, designed around your business rather than a theme, and quoted up front so there's no open-ended hourly meter. Then it stays on our infrastructure with hosting, security, monitoring, backups and ongoing changes under a single monthly fee — and the person making those changes is the person who built it.
How it works
We learn the business, agree the pages, features and content, and quote the build up front. A fixed number before anyone commits — no open-ended hourly billing.
Designed around your business rather than a theme, then built by hand. You see it live on a staging domain and give notes before anything switches over.
Zero-downtime migration — the domain stays yours, email is untouched, the switch is invisible to visitors. Then hosting, security, backups and ongoing changes under Site Care.
What's included
Every build is bespoke, so the feature set follows the brief rather than a template's limits. These are the things we bring to all of them.
Examples
All live, all built and hosted by us. Every one loads fast on a phone with bad signal, because that is where people actually read them.
A two-day fitness competition on a Cornish dairy farm. Everything a team captain needs on one page — countdown, workouts, camping, FAQs — with entry links at every decision point.

Seven sites on one platform, each built to rank for the questions people actually type, with staged quote forms that route enquiries straight to an inbox. Shared infrastructure, separate brands.

What a custom feature looks like when it carries real weight — a genuine search tool, a national map, an API and a blog, all on one fast footprint.

Two parts, and you see both numbers before anything starts: a one-off build, scoped and fixed in advance, then a monthly fee to keep it running and keep it changing.
Your site is often the front door to the rest of it. See automation engagements →
Frequently asked
As a fixed quote, agreed before any work starts. We scope the pages, features and integrations with you, then give you one number — typically staged 50% to begin and 50% at launch. No hourly meter, no scope creep billed back to you. If you later want something outside the agreed scope, we quote that separately before building it.
You do. We'll either register it in your name and pass the registration cost (around £10–12 a year) through at cost, or connect a domain you already own. Either way it's yours, and we manage the DNS so you never have to think about it.
Hosting, TLS, security patching, uptime monitoring, nightly encrypted off-site backups, and reasonable ongoing changes — new copy, swapped images, a news post, an updated team page, a new development added as it completes. Substantial new features or new page designs are quoted separately, but the day-to-day upkeep is included rather than metered.
You own your domain and your content. If you ever move on, we hand over an export of your site and point your domain wherever you like. No ransom, no hostage-taking. We'd rather you stayed because it's good value, not because you're trapped.
No. Because the build is paid for up front, Site Care carries no tie — it's monthly, and you can stop it whenever you like. We'd rather you stayed because it's worth it than because you're locked in.
On our own EU infrastructure (Hetzner, Nuremberg), with TLS everywhere and nightly off-site backups to a separate machine. It's the same hardened setup that runs our automation clients. More on security →
That's our main job — bookings to invoices, reports, document generation. Your website is often the front door to all of it, so the two fit together neatly. See automation engagements →
